While not nearly as exciting as being here at the farm in person, our website can give you a taste of what and who we are and what goes on here at the herb farm. Words and pictures can only go so far when you are describing herbs and herbal really must experience the WONDERFUL AROMAS and INTOXICATING FRAGRANCES by smelling them! How else can you enjoy the fresh piney scent of rosemary, the woodsy aroma of thyme, the tingly blast of mint, or the most unforgettably sweet, old-fashioned scent of lavender?

Our entire property (50+ acres) is 100% organic and has been for over 20 years.  We have an extensive garden with 15 raised beds that are always filled with seasonal vegetables.  Garlic is a specialty crop that is planted in October and harvested in May.  Fresh, organic garlic is unlike anything you've ever bought at the store.  Every year we grow more garlic than the year before but we still can't keep up with the demand!  We have many native Texas plants and wildflowers that attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, and a number of plants that are host plants to a variety of butterflies.

Our Guest House is a quaint and comfortable 2-bedroom cottage.  One bedroom is our retail shop where you will find a nice selection of herbal products including all-natural handmade soap, old-fashioned potpourri, our own culinary herb blends, organic teas, and many more unique, quality items. Everything we carry is either made here at the farm or chosen exclusively for its quality, uniqueness, or hand-craftsmanship.  The second bedroom is a guest room with a queen bed for a very comfortable night's sleep.  Antique furniture, quilts and lamps set the mood for old-fashioned appeal.  The comfortable living room, bathroom and kitchen continue that old-fashioned feeling with more antiques and family heirlooms.  The Guest House is available for stays of one night or more and can comfortably sleep up to four people.

Bread baking, cheese making, soap making, organic pest control and fertilization, cultured dairy products, permaculture, beekeeping, probiotics/prebiotics/fermentation, ... just some of the classes and workshops we offer here at the herb farm.  And we can take many of these classes on the road to your location!

Special events include our Annual Holiday Open House and other events scheduled throughout the year.

There is always something new and exciting going on at Pineywoods Herb Farm!
